The Yoga Sūtras were not written to be analyzed alone.
They were meant to be experienced.
This Sunday morning gathering offers a quiet, guided exploration of selected Yoga Sūtras through meditation, reflection, and gentle contemplative practice. Rather than focusing on memorization or philosophy, we’ll allow the teachings to land directly in the body and mind through lived experience.
We’ll move slowly between:
Short passages from the Yoga Sūtras
Guided meditation and breath awareness
Periods of silence and integration
Simple inquiry that connects the teachings to daily life
The emphasis is not on understanding more, but on noticing what becomes clear when the mind settles.
This class is open to all levels of experience. No prior study of the Yoga Sūtras is required — only a willingness to pause, listen, and be present.
You’ll leave with:
A felt sense of how the Yoga Sūtras support meditation
A few teachings that continue to resonate beyond the mat
A quieter, steadier orientation for the week ahead
This is an invitation to meet the Yoga Sūtras not as abstract ideas, but as living guidance — experienced from the inside out.
