Yoga Teacher Training 300: Adaptive Yoga for Special Populations Module

This module is an introduction to Yoga Therapy and the principles of applying it to special populations (Note: Completion of this module does not meet Yoga Therapy Certifications. Rather this module is an introduction to the practice). The aim of this course is to empower the Yoga teacher to conduct private yoga sessions with confidence, know-how, and professionalism. Participants of this workshop will receive ample tools and understanding in how to address the specific needs of their clients. This is one of two modules on Adaptive Yoga. The Second Module will be held November 3-5th, 2017. Below is the tentative weekend schedule.

17 hours onsite.

9 hours offsite:

  • Reading for after the completion of Module 1 - Yoga and Psychotherapy by Swami Rama: 4 hours

  • Private Yoga Instruction to be completed after Module 1: 5 hours
