About

Yoga is something I came to my freshman year of college. It presented itself in a time of upheaval and quickly became not just a refuge but also a way of understanding and interpreting life. All people practice Yoga in some way. That is because Yoga is the awakening and the effort to become a better person. For a Yogi, this usually begins through restoring health of the mind and body. When the mind and body become healthier, it gets easier to be a kind person- and to actually mean it. It gets easier to share with the world the unique talents each one of us possesses.

What I offer through Elemental Yoga & The Mind Arts

Elemental Yoga and the Mind Arts is a living entity, constantly expanding through its teachers and students. Elemental Yoga has a quality of openness and freedom to be oneself. Each individual is received as they are and understood as blossoming from a seed of potential. The studio welcomes those who are new to yoga as well as offers an in-depth and challenging practice to experienced yogis. We unify the wisdom of yoga with the sensitivity of every individual by teaching inspiring classes filled with knowledge for life enhancement. We combine: sacred intentions – breathing practices, physical postures (asanas), and education in the roots of Yoga.

Translated as ‘yoke’ or ‘union’ from Sanskrit, this ancient practice integrates the mind and body to create a greater connection with one’s own pure, essential nature. By connecting with our true selves and bringing our body, mind, and spirit together through yoga therapy and holistic living, we receive the amazing ability to heal ourselves and live our lives in balance, freedom, and joy. Developed by an experienced and dedicated yoga therapist, Elemental Yoga classes are suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners, targeting individual needs.

Our mission is to provide mind and body tools for self-mastery and a community to practice in.
