Chris began practicing yoga to recover after having spinal fusion in 2001. Teaching with an awareness that our weaknesses can be our greatest opportunities for growth. Certified 200 E-RYT in Texas Power Yoga since 2010 , Chris has also studied Ashtanga, Yin, Thai Yoga Bodywork, Prenatal & Children’s Yoga, Assisting & Modifications. Each class is created with balance and ease by focusing on breath and movement leaving you stronger and more aware.
Yin yoga is slower moving focusing on joint mobility by relaxing the muscles to facilitate deeper healing and change. We use bolsters & blocks to support the body to hold postures for several minutes. Ease of breathe and movement is encouraged at any level, so modifications are offered for beginners to experienced.
